History
In 1877, Theresa Mauchner age 18 was in route to America aboard the Wittekind. She was emigrating from Iphofen, Germany. Theresa remained in America for several years and then returned to her home in Iphofen, where she was married to Urban Grunewald. They had eight children, six boys and two girls.
In 1923 at 21 years old their son Karl immigrated to America with his sister Louis aboard the Westphalia. While in night school Karl met Irma Maria Becker, they were married in 1933.
